libstatistics-r-perl software package provides Control the R interpreter with perl, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libstatistics-r-perl
libstatistics-r-perl is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libstatistics-r-perl package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libstatistics-r-perl *
You will get with libstatistics-r-perl package name, version, architecture and description in a table
